Wychwood Baptist Church

Small Groups

Small groups are an important part of life at Wychwood Baptist.  They help us to deepen our relationships with one another, allowing us to share life together, so that we can care for one another.  Then together, we can deepen our knowledge and love of the Lord, so that we can 'Know, Grow & Show' Him more and more in our lives.

We have some formal groups, and encourage other 'informal' ones.

Open Home

*** Open Home is currently taking a break as we review our small group provision***

Open Home meets at someone’s home for an informal time together.

This includes an opportunity to get to know each other better, to share the good and the bad with one another.  Open Home meets for a variety of activities.  From informal events, to prayer and bible study.

If you would like to find out more then contact us.

See our calendar for the location of the next open home.

Fellowship Lunch

From time to time we have lunch events (in place of ladies bible study, below), giving us an opportunity to hear from someone, then pray for them.  So far this year, we've heard from Tom Taylor from Magdalen Road Church about his recent mission trip to Nigeria; heard about a couple's ministry amongst Kurdish people in Northern Iraq; and found out about the vital work of CAP (Christians against poverty) in Chipping Norton.

See our calendar for details of our next event.

Ladies Bible Study

Ladies meet every Tuesday from 3 pm in someone’s home.

This gives another informal opportunity to engage with the bible over a cuppa.

If you would like to find out more then contact us.

See our calendar for the location of the next bible study.

Other Courses / Studies

At various times we have other courses and studies - such as Life Explored, Christianity Explored, and Men's Bible Studies.

If you would like to find out more then contact us.

See our calendar for the location of the next bible study.
